'Oildale'

As you might or might not have heard, KoRn performed one of the songs from their new Album.
The song is titled 'Oildale'. Someone on KoRnspace provided a recording of it being performed live on YouTube.
I personally enjoyed this song and it gave me a little mixture of Life is Peachy and TALITM feel, but thats just me.
What I'm wondering is why this was named so. I looked online and Oildale is a name of a census designed place in Kern County,California,near Bakersfield.

So I was wondering on how everyone else felt about the new song.

I liked it when I heard it, and it made me look forward to the new album's release even more. I was glad to hear Fieldy's signature sound is back, and that Munky's guitars were heavy as hell. Also... FINALLY, some real drumming again from Ray! I'm gonna have to hear the studio version for my final judgement of the lyrics but Jon's raw emotion seems back smile .

And yeah Oildale is apparently some really bad town - it's known for racial violence, as well as being a base of operation for small neo-Nazi groups. Pretty interesting...

UPDATE: Oildale is rumoured to come out today... whether there is any truth to this story, is another matter altogether.

I've been listening to the radio station for the past hour and a half waiting for it.
All it's played so far is a Bit from an Interview with JD and Falling Away From Me (not that I'm complaining =D).
So, we better be getting a damn song tonight after some of the sh*t that has been played.

That wasn't really bad at all. The drums were amazing and thats what im going to look forword the most in this album.

I heard it on the radio today and it reminded me why I loved KoRn.
