Simple enough question.

To clarify, though, and avoid any confusion I do note mean the haute couture styles, but street styles. If I go to England and want to dress with a local flare what should I wear and how should I wear it?

At school, I wore a tweed jacket in my spare time.

I'm not sure I'm qualified to comment on street styles!

I wore the same blue jumper and khaki-coloured trousers for my 2 years of sixth form, I don't think I'm qualified to answer either.

Try checking the online catalogues of stores such as New Look and Primark, or NEXT/White Stuff if you want to look a little more grown up?

I'm not sure what kind of age bracket you're aiming for so it's difficult to point you in the right direction.

Oh, young adult fashions I suppose. I'm past my teen years.^__^

You can't go wrong with jeans and a t-shirt, finished with a stylish (non-sporty) hoodie.

Just tape a big flag to your chest that boasts the country of your origin, no one will suspect you're not from the area...

If you have a hoodie that proclaims you as a leaver of whereever from whatever year they are fairly popular with 18+ year olds at the moment. I've barely gone out without mine since I got it.

In my area I've found brightly coloured tights to be a bit of a fashion, especially with Doc Martins.

I love tweed jackets. They're adorably professor-ish.

And real tweed smells of pee when they get wet in the rain.

Urine was used in the process of tweed back in the day. Same chemicals still are used today, but smell slightly less.

Thankfully enough, its what my cupboards are full of. Used to wear stripped jumpers a lot.

But then one day walking down Canterbury highstreet, I saw several chavs wearing the same top.

I never wore them again.

Infact, I do believe I burned them..

And of course Doctor Who's now making them popular again!

I dunno if I could pull off the tweed jacket, but it never hurts to try. I'm also liking the "Sailor" look (found some looks in magazines and online). Maybe I'll wear the jacket over it, if it looks right...and I don't melt in the sun rofl .
