Holy [Amusing Suggestive Statement], Batman!
I'm "borrowing" this idea from the Word Games Forum in GD, that I thought was fun to play! I've tried it out in another guild with good success, so I just thought I'd give it a try on you Geezers! This game is based on the old 1960's TV show Batman and that certain phrase that Robin was especially well known for saying whenever he encountered something startling during the Dynamic Duo's escapades.
Rules: One person posts a suggestion. The next person has to describe that suggestion in the brackets area of the phrase "Holy [insert description here], Batman!", then post another single word to be described, and so on goes this word game.
For example, I might suggest: Popcorn
The next person would say: Holy exploding corn kernels, Batman!
and then that same person might suggest: Firetruck
The next poster might say: Holy flashing red fire extinguisher on wheels with sirens, Batman!
and then post another suggestion.
