(your killing the fun yo.......if you saw my garados own his health bar youd have assumed the same thing if you dident read some guide...XD)

so can they be caught without the master ball???
if only the master ball then how do you legit duplicate it with breeding agian?

but seriously my garados owns....i forgort why i loved them soo damed much... it even whooped the shiney one at level 25.
2 hits and i had to swich to weaker, but still loved almost as much pokemon.....XD

and now i have 2~! in my team....^^

Any Pokemon can be caught without a Masterball, the catch rates are incredibly low though. So you should start by affecting the Entei with a status condition I would go with Paralysis or sleep. But do paralysis since it never wears off, then have a pokemon with either Arena trap (Dugtrio) or you can go the tried but true method of Wobbuffet and just counter his attacks. Also in the new games you get a chance before they run to attack, so have a pokemon with thunderwave and paralyze him. Then the next time you see him have a Wobbuffet at least his level or better and just chuck Ultra balls or have alot of Timer balls on hand.

I had to waste a tons of pokeballs on my diamond game when I needed to catch the legendaries. It was hard but it is achievable.

Entei and Raikou also have the Roar ability, so they can still end the battle if they decide to use it.

what's this about reading guides? I haven't had to read a guide for pokemon since the original gold and silver release when I was having trouble with the stupid shutter puzzle underneath Goldenrod City.

As for balls, I like to use Timer/Dusk/Net

If I'm over their level, then Level and Nest balls work well too.

And if they have a gender, then Love balls are the way to go.

Or, you can trade them to your game, and if you wish to catch them again, a repeat ball works wonders.

Hmm I forgot about the nest ball, but the guides are useless... the best thing they are for is knowing what to get in a town. Or the location of hidden items (Which you have a dowsing machine for in the first place)
