Basic Rules at

Here are a few rules you must follow in order to make your stay more enjoyable. Artist are allowed to add rules inside their booths. Please read their rules too!

Not following any of this may result in your posts being deleted, or even being banned from the guild permanently without a ticket refund. However, if you don't agree with any of this rules you are welcomed to send a PM to this account and ask for a refund BEFORE the event starts. TY!

1-No begging. Artists aren't obligated to give freebies if they don't wish to do it. Begging is frustrating for the artist and the other visitors.

2-Be nice. Swearing, flaming, drama and trolling are strictly prohibited.

3-Don't pressure/hurry the artists.

4-Don't be a crybaby. Some people take critique personally and respond in bad ways. If you are the kind of person that doesn't like critique, don't ask for it!

5-Be patient. Artists will be overwhelmed with the amount of replies they will get. Please be patient and avoid posting twice in a row or more.

6-Do not start threads Visitors can't start threads in forums or subforums. They can, however, post reply in any of them.

7-No spam/advertising Visitors are not allowed to advertise their own shops in artist's booth, or spam.
If artists wish to participate in next event, register in the Newsletter list as an artist and we will send you a PM when we start accepting applications.

8-Time's change...Any vice-captain may change this rules without notice.

How works

Imagine an ordinary convention: There are booths, artists on those booths, contests, celebrities, and some random activities going on.
Well, it’s the same here at GA-Con.

Each artist(or group of) has his/her own thread inside the convention subforum, which we will now call “booth”. Inside this booth, the artist will display his/her artwork, something about him/her, and some links he/she may want to share.
This space is the artist’s only, so he/she may ask you to follow some special rules* in order to make your stay more pleasant.

The artists may give away freebies** to some lucky gaians visiting their booths.
They may also give advice and critiques** to some gaians who wish to improve on their art.
Artists may also give some tips** on art techniques, or do livestreaming** sessions so you can see how they create their pieces step by step, live!

He/she may also have special slots** for those who wish to order art at the event, or inside contests that will get you an original piece of art from the artist.

**Please remember that all of this depends on the artists, since some take longer to complete their commissions than others.

Activities inside

Apart from the artists’ booths, there are also other threads inside the event that may catch your attention:

Raffle:
GA-Con organizes a raffle for those who donate as little as 500g to the event. Each of the donators will get a ticket to win one artwork of one the artists participating in the raffle. The ticket number is given by the post order, and at the end of the con, each artist participating in the raffle will generate a number from 1 to the number of tickets given, and the ticket with the same number will be given a free artwork by that artist.

Courses:
Our artists have decided to share their knowledge in a more formal way. They will give courses in the form of tutorials this GA-Con.

In summary! things you can do as a visitor:

- Order art: The heart and soul of this whole event is the selling and buying of custom made art by our invited artists. You may do so at the event inside the artist’s booths.
- Ask for critique
