Will you fight for your agenda?

I need some help. There's a German exchange student at my school. He's only 15, and I'm 18, but he's smart, funny, and cute. I'm pretty sure I like him, but he barely notices me. Plus, he's going back to Germany at the end of the year. But I want him to ask me to Prom....should I just abandon it?

Or will you fight for air?

I would say ask him.
But I hope you don't plan on persuing a relationship, since most foreign exchange programs have policies against that, and it would lead to him going home early.

You should ask him. If you visited a foreign country, wouldn't you want to be asked places instead of being responsible for asking others?
