The Seven Deadly Sins, also known as the Capital Vices or Cardinal Sins, is a classification of the most objectionable vices that has been used since early Christian times to educate and instruct followers concerning (immoral) fallen humanity's tendency to sin. The final version of the list consists of wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony.
What do they mean?
Wrath: Strong vengeful anger or indignation
Greed: Selfish and excessive desire for more of something (as money) than is needed
Sloth: Avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
Pride: Excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
Lust: An inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
Envy: The desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.
Gluttony: Desire to consume more than that which one requires.
In Catholic catechism, the seven virtues refers to one of two lists of virtues, most commonly referring to Kindness, Patience, Diligence, Humility, Generosity, Abstinence, and Chastity.
What do they mean?
Kindness: Act or the state of being kind and marked by charitable behaviour, marked by mild disposition, pleasantness, tenderness and concern for others
Patience: State of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without becoming annoyed or upset
Diligence: Zealous and careful nature in one's actions and work, exemplified by a decisive work ethic, budgeting of one's time, monitoring one's own activities to guard against laziness, and putting forth full concentration in one's work.
Humility: Quality of being humble: modest, not proud, self-abasing.
Generosity: Is the habit of giving freely without coercion.
Abstinence: A voluntary restraint from indulging in bodily activities that are widely experienced as giving pleasure.
Chastity: the term used to describe sexual abstinence, especially before marriage.

Your submission must not be re-used from any other contest that has taken place in this guild.
