Who?

This poem is about how I feel and it might not make complete and total sense, but since I wrote it I thought I'd share it. Plz comment!

Who is this girl I'm looking at
The one who pretends to be the chesire Cat
The one who is always in her shell
The one who needs help, but has no one to tell
She has so many dreams she wants to make
But everyone says she doesn't have what it takes.
So tell me
Who is this girl I'm looking at
Because she's definitely not the chesire cat

I don't get it.... the chesire cat is the cat in Alice in Wonderland, this cat isn't shy, so wouldn't be in her shell. Why does she need help? What????  

[Evermore Reality]

I may be reading too much into this, but I think she means that the Chesire Cat, while not "in a shell" is one of the lonliest characters in Alice in Wonderland.

I took it to mean that the girl spends so much time pretendign to be cunning and coy that when the time comes to ask for help, no one take her seriously. It's an entirely different kind of isolation.

On a side note, I liked the rhyme scheme.
