That's right, I cap locked the title. That's how bloody serious I am.

Now, for those not yet in the know, there was a case of plagiarism amongst the guild very recently. For those who don't know what that is it's the act of copying another person's work without their consent and claiming it as their own. It's also against the law.

I do not take plagiarism lightly. Because not only is it illegal, but I wouldn't want anyone to steal my hard work, either. People who write, people who create put a lot of hard work into their creations. Now imagine how that person would feel if someone just copied all their hard work and claimed it as their own. I imagine it would feel like s**t.

Now, for the record, this isn't the first case of plagiarism in this guild. I've had two other cases reported to me in the past. I'm baffled. Because this guild is FULL of incredibly creative girls. And it astounds me that I would get even one report of plagiarism. I guess every group has at least one bad apple, huh?

What I'm basically trying to say here is I'm done playing around. Plagiarism is serious and I'm going to treat it much more seriously. If you're caught plagiarizing I will give you a warning and a chance to change what you've stolen into something original. If you refuse to change it and deny copying someone's work when I have proof that you did, then I'll hit you with the ban hammer. Personally, I think the warning is being too nice. So depending on how often this happens I'll just go and ban you without the warning. Don't like it? Too bad. There's the door, you're welcome to leave whenever you want.
