So - anyone into hockey? Favorite team/players? Predictions on whether or not the Capitals will continue kicking serious a**?

I love hockey.
I don't really watch it, only play it.
I started pre-season training on Monday.
So excited. ^^

Aw, lucky! n___n I only played hockey in a gym at school, or street hockey as a kid. I miss it haha.

It's quite a popular sport her in
South Africa. Mainly played on grass or astro turf.
I've always wanted to try ice hockey, but it's to
hot here and we don't have any ice rinks close by.

Maybe you should add it to your list
of to do? [: It could be fun learning and you won't
really regret it at all. So I rate you try find some
extra time in your life and dedicate it to trying?

I'm a typical Canadian. I love hockey. Calgary Flames are my fav heart
You guys can say what you want about them but I still love them. When my mom went into labor. Ironicly today is my b-day. She was listening to the playoffs. And I was 3 months old and watched them win the Stanly Cup.
For players Iggy, Kipper, Conroy, and a few other there that I can't remember their names. (and I can't remember how to spell Kipper and Iggy's names off the top of my head a this moment. Will edit when I remember)

Holy jeebus, hockey is the best!!!!
I suck at it, but I love playing ice hockey (And really, I've seriously slimmed down so much since I started playing in October.) and as far as teams go? Habs all the way, baby!

You reminded me of something my mom said. We are all hockey fans, including the cats lol.
We were talking about the playoffs and my mom said out of the blue "I will cheer for any Canadian team.... Except the Habs"
I have nothing against them but my mom has this beef with them and I have no idea why. I have a beef with the Oilers though... In my thinking Flames burn Oilers lol

I adore hockey, but I'm a Wings fan first and foremost.
But it's kinda a family thing.
(Mum says her favorite sport is watching us watch hockey.)
