Do you consider it gross to eat after a pet? I don't mind letting my cats have a nibble of my food here and there, and I'll eat right after them. Plus, Roxy likes to run off with my food all the time, so as long as it doesn't touch the ground, I'll take it right back from her and eat it. Several of my best friends will eat after their cats. No one I know will eat after a dog, mostly because they produce so much saliva, whereas cats do not. So....do you guys mind eating after a pet? If so, what kind of pet?

I eat after my dog, provided she wasn't trying to lick my bowl clean. Otherwise, I share my cookies with her and such.
It's not gross to me, because well a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans...

I know that dogs and cats are supposed to have far less bacteria in their mouths than humans but the fact is, most pets I've met have fairly bad breath. So, I love my kitties but the friendship just doesn't stretch quite that far.

Haha, cats do have really bad breath, but I love them, so I don't mind that much. xD
Aw. That's cool of you Broken. (: Some of my friends won't even let their cats have a bit. DX

I never even let my cats near my food ): They shed a lot and I don't want their hair in my food.

I think the thought is disgusting, but cats and dogs mouths are actually cleaner than a human's. Dog's are the cleanest, because they produce so much saliva. It like, cleans their mouths or something.

Well cats and dogs shouldn't really be eating your food. It can be really harmful to them. But I guess cats and dogs do have clean mouths, so it wouldn't technically be unhealthy. I would find it gross though.

theforkdork I think the thought is disgusting, but cats and dogs mouths are actually cleaner than a human's. Dog's are the cleanest, because they produce so much saliva. It like, cleans their mouths or something. The saliva is an acid that kills all bacteria and germs. Its not strong enough to hurt you or them, though.

To a point. I'll let my dog have some food off my fork and then proceed to eat with said fork, or when we have spahgetti noodles, I'll put one end in my mouth and she eats up to my mouth. She's so cute when she does x3
Cat, on the other hand, has terrible breath. No thanks xD
