I finally got around to watching Friday's episode of Caprica, and saw that Peter Wingfield had a guest shot as a police captain. On Highlander, Methos could only remember about 5000 years of life. Let's do some math...
Caprica is set 50 years before the pilot episode of Battlestar Galactica.
The final episode of Battlestar Galactica took place 200,000 years before today.
So, if Immortals originated on Caprica (it sounds better than Zeist), and Methos made it through the Destruction of the Colonies, the journey to Earth, and everything that happened since, he's now almost a quarter of a million years old.
