I finally decided to start one of these after waffling about it for months.

Background: I am a 22 year old female. Highest weight was 213 pounds. Currently at 178 pounds. Goal weight is 150 pounds.

Diet: I've always been athletic but gained a lot of weight after a horrible breakup because I binge eat. My binging has been under control for a year. I really need to eat more fruits and vegetables, but they bore me. My portions are usually good unless I'm eating pizza. I love pizza. I drink alcohol maybe once a week, often less.

Exercise: I am on the local fencing team and we fence once a week for two hours. I have a Wii Fit and try to use it twice a week for at least an hour, but I'm pretty bad about it. When it's not freezing cold out, I will run for a mile or two. But it's freezing cold right now.

So far today, I've eaten:
3 whole wheat pancakes with blueberry syrup
3 strips of bacon
8 oz. V8
2 pints of Diet Pepsi
1 Cadbury Orange Crisp Cake Bar
1 pita pizza-whole wheat pita, pizza sauce, italian cheese, pepperoni
1 salmon patty
1 cup green beans
1 small baked potato
1 Aero bar
1 ginger beer

one very small bowl Fiber One with skim milk
2.5 cups black coffee
1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger
French fries
2 diet Cokes
1 Red Robin Mud Pie dessert

Exercise: 21 min Wii Fit

Do you have a set amount of calories you want to eat a day to lose weight?

It just....seems like you're....kinda...eating...uhm, a bit much.

No, I just eat until I feel full. Calorie counting makes me feel like I'm cheating myself out of something. Being mindful of how full I am works better for me. Also, I'd note that I didn't eat anything after that rather large lunch on Sunday. I didn't need to; I wasn't hungry the rest of the day.

Food today:
Fiber One cereal with skim milk
2 cups black coffee
1 large salad (mixed greens, feta cheese, shredded carrots, ham, croutons, balsamic vinagrette)
1 piece pepperoni pizza (which I so didn't need for lunch)
large diet Ginger Ale
3 pieces homemade pizza
1 diet Coke
8oz. V8 Fusion

Exercise: 30 min Wii Fit

Tomorrow I'm going to start bringing lunch to work. The salad is healthy, but I have to break myself of eating pizza every day. Plus it's expensive to always buy.

1 bowl Special K and skim milk
1 cup black coffee
1 ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread
1 Campbell's Cup of Soup; chicken noodle
1 Fiber One bar
12oz Diet Mountain Dew
1 blueberry scone
1/2 bar Violet Crumble

Exercise: Shoveled snow 15 min.

Pint of diet coke

1 sandwich (wheat bread, ham, cheese, lettuce, balsamic vinaigrette)
1 cup grapefruit
1 FiberOne bar
2 chocolate-covered macadamia nuts
1/2 cup Chicken Breast
1/4 cup brown rice
1/2 cup green beans
2 brownies
1 pint Diet Grape Faygo

Friday food:
1 bowl Cinnamon Toast Crunch with skim milk
1 cup black coffee
2 chocolate covered macadamia nuts
1 bag Doritos
1 slice pizza
1 salad (romaine, cheddar cheese, carrots, tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette)
Not a lot of meatloaf
1/2 cup green beans
Diet Coke
1 pint Guinness
1 chicken tender salad (lettuce, chicken tenders, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, scallions, balsamic vinaigrette)

Exercise: 2 hours fencing

1 pint Diet Faygo
1 Bison Bacon Cheeseburger
1 salad (lettuce, cheddar cheese, carrots, bacon bits, sunflower seeds, italian dressing)
3 Diet Cokes
1 slice flourless chocolate cake

Uh...oops. Work and the Olympics made me not online this week. Next week will probably be the same. Oh well. Here's today anyway.
Food: one bowl Kashi with skim milk
one cup black coffee
large salad(romaine, carrots, cheese, bacon bits, croutons, tomatoes, fat free italian)
1 piece pizza
2 pints diet coke
6 inch ham sub from subway (ham, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomato, vinegar and oil)

Exercise: 2 hours fencing

Hurr hurr, I totally called the Olympics making me ignore the internet. Whatever.

Food today:
1 bowl Rice Chex with skim milk
3 cups black coffee
1 slice pepperoni pizza
1 large salad (mixed greens, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, bacon bits, tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette)
1/2 spinach, feta, tomato omelette
1/4 cup hash browns
2 slices toast
1 whole wheat bagel

Exercise: some amount of Wii Fit that I don't know how long it was.
