These are two poems of mine. I doubt there any good, but can someone just be honest with me.
Red
Look at the scars upon the skin
Pictures and words I can't explain.
All enflicted and wanted
A few minutes of pleasure
Ruby red water shines in the light
Beads fall from the little lines
They splash on the floor
Pretty flowers with little pitter-patters
The taste of metal as I lick my wounds
Razors stained with pain
People knocking on the bathroom door
Asking whats taking so long
I lie and say nothing
When really, I'm enjoying myself
No one knows about the healed scars
No one notices the bandaids or the long sleeves
The smell of it floats though the air
It smells thick and rusty
I say to myself one more one more
Only one more cut
But one leads to more
And I can't stop
And I won't
Forever
She lives for others,
She lives to please.
She is never herself,
She is always another.
Why won't she just be her?
Is it fear of denial?
Is it fear of rejection?
Her life is so sad.
She harms herself daily,
wanting to be something she is not.
She wants to be the person she pretends to be.
Pain is enflicted and endured,
But what would her life be without it.
It would be nothing, for pain makes up her life.
She sees it everywhere she goes.
Tears flowing from her pours,
Blood flowing out her veins.
She wants everything to stop..........
....................?..............
....................?.................
Is it that easy, to end it all?
Will it hurt and will it be quick?
Life takes years to complete,
But the truth is,
Suicide takes only moments.
What are moments compared to years?
What are seconds compared to hours?
Which one do you like best?
This girl is the queen of sorrow.
Now she walks the streets, wonders the earth
In search of an answer to death.
Little does she know that death has passed her by.
It has come to her, but it didn't even want her.
Is she really this bad?
To want to die but be gifted with immortality.
What kind of punishment is this?
She does not notice she has the gift of ever lasting life.
All she sees is blood and suffering.
She wants none other than to die.
Men want immortality out of fear of death,
She wants death out of fear of immortality.
