I would have to agree. With out the failed human transmutation there wouldnt be a need for the anime. Which in other words-alot of characters wouldnt need to make an apperance

Example-Roy Mustang would not be need and a bunch of fangirls would be very sad.

No evil palm tree (Envy) To argue if he's a boy or a girl.

That would also mean no huges and his talk of his daughter. (Is that a bad thing?)

No Armstrong and his sparkels (Oh noes!)

And the anime would basically have no need in general-Thus making alot of fangirls not really care. And- we wouldnt know Edward Elric-The genious Prodigy child who has automail limbs.

Also-how would the military ever find out that King Bradly is a homuncuili??
