I made this thread for just CLARINET players like me. Just made this because I was wondering if anyone here at Valve Gaming were musicians capable of playing old, classical musical instruments such as the Oboe or Violin. Only post if: 1. You are an admin. 2. You are a Clarinet player. Doesn't matter which Clarinet you play. 3. You know a piece of music for the instrument.
Now, here's an overview of my life as a musician so far:
I play the B flat Clarinet, which is pretty common for alot of Clarinet players. I choose playing the B flat Clarinet because it was played in the same way as the Recorder, which was an instrument I played earlier in my life. Before I started playing woodwinds, I played "Oriff" instruments, which were simple percussion instruments that included the Xylophone, Metallophone, Glockenspiel, and Small, simple hand drums. Eventually I stopped playing them while in 4th grade, when I started playing the Recorder. 2 years after I quit playing the Recorder, I started playing my current instrument, the B flat Clarinet. Right now, I have several options toward the rest of my musical career. Either I keep playing the B flat Clarinet, change to another instrument such as the Saxophone, or "upgrade" to the bigger Bass Clarinet my school has.
