I'd have to say the 80's cos I really loved all the different types of music out there. But what is your fave generation for music?

I'm still fond of the 80's, but I can't believe no one's replied yet. I guess this isn't a very active guild..

Plugabugz I think music is getting better each day biggrin Really? Some of it seems okay but most of it is just whiny anymore.

I personally look forward to every new masterpiece of my own heroes. I rarely listen to mainstream popmusic, because I think it's aweful! Perhaps 90's house classics if I had to choose, for that's what I loved when I first started appreaciating music.

I like 70's rock like Led Zeppelin and early Judas Priest, but I'm going to have to go with the 80's on this one. It was the golden age of glam metal and metal in general.

70's also had the introduction of progressive rock as well, which led to bands like Rush. To say one generation had the "best" music is like saying one heritage has the best food. I'm sorry but my ears are audio fat kids ^_^ I do, however, am not a fan of "fast food" music. You just can't mix art into capitalism and call yourself an artist... Or that's just my subjective opinion on that matter.
Okay, okay

I'm on the 80's bandwagon since the bests artists in my book were from that generation. Especially rock.

I'd probably say anything from the 1960's to the mid 1990's. Yes, the 80's does have a lot of good music, but these other decades also have good music if you know where to look.

I lean toward the 90s because a lot of the best material in the metal sub-genres I favor came out then, but there's good stuff in every decade smile
