The real question should be "if there is a coven, should I join it" and "if there isn't, should I start one".

I was going to sneek back in here and edit my post, but you beat me to it.

I noted in another thread that you're a minor. If you want to be Wiccan, and have a Traditional coven, you'll need to wait until you're 18- or be emancipated

First of all, it is a cult.
Second of all, your rather ungrateful. Think of what your parents gave you, and then tell me that a disagreement over a word is enough for you to disrespect someone who feeds, clothes, shelters and cares for you.

Well, you've shown that you don't obey them- they said you weren't allowed to research paganism and yet, here you are.

And it's sad that you disrespect them. Do you realize how much time, energy and money you cost them? How they love you? And you're tossing your respect for them down the drain because you disagree with them on a theological matter- one that they might be right about?

You said they were Christians. Heaven forbid they be turning to their sacred texts to guide them.

Also, now and then false Wiccans pop up in the media in sex abuse scandles and the like. If you can't tell the difference, how are they meant to?

Secondly- just because they are unaware you are disobeying them, doesn't make it okay.
