Appearance:
Bio:Leah has the life. Or so it seems. She is the popular girl at school and hangs out with the 'in' crowd.She has great grades and nice clothes. The only thing people don't know is that she's just like everyone else. She has her secrets and stories. Leah lives ontop but tries to be nice to everyone.

Name: Alfie Erickson
Age/Grade: 16/Sophomore
Appearance: Skinny, short boy with dark brown hair dyed black. He wears baggy clothes and usually has a pair of headphones around his neck.
Bio: Alfie doesn't have many friends, since he puts his music and dance before his social life. He practices every day after school in the deserted music courtyard, and as far as he knows, no one watches him. He has an audition coming up, and is determined to master his dance by that time so he can astonish the judges.

Leah stood outside the school with all of her friends. It was the first day of school and already the madness and drama had begun. Deep down Leah hated the drama but often enough she was involved in it.Not so much as the problem but as someone who got caught in it.

Over the summer Leah had stayed inside losing much of the tan she usually had.She stayed in touch with all her friends but spent more time reading,drawing, and killing time on the computer. This year her family had decided to skip the usual vacation which was a big reason for her choice to stay inside.She sighed softly not really listening to the conversation.

Alfie sat on the corner of the school's front steps with his headphones on his ears. He was listening to his audition song, written and sung by him. He'd paid some of the music people to do the guitar, bass, and drums, and they'd done exactly how he'd expected them to do for $50 each. He was running through his dance in his head, since he was too self-conscious to put the CD in his boombox and dance in front of all the people.

At last the bell rang signaling the start of the day.As Leah turned to walk up the steps she saw a guy sitting there. He was younger than her and Leah knew that.He's gonna get stepped on.She thought to herself as she carefully walked around him.

Alfie watched all of the people start to go inside, and stood up. He pulled down the hood of his baggy zip-up sweater and started to walk to class. Math...Fun... He thought to himself. As he walked to the second floor, he noticed Leah, and wondered why she looked so down. Not that any of her friends really seemed to notice. But then again, most of them were stupid bubbleheads who couldn't pick up an emotion if you threw it at them and it bit their perfect faces off.

After looking at her schedual Leah headed up to the third floor for art. She had been going to the same school district with the same people her whole life and it was really beging to bore her. When she got into her art class she saw that for once she was in class with none of her "regular" friends. With a sigh she sat down and waited for class to start.

Alfie replaced his bulky headphones with smaller earbuds, so he could listen to his music in class without the teacher noticing. He had the music on as background music, so he could hear the teacher when she called on him and not look like an idiot. He took out his notebook and started to write new lyrics, for which he'd come up with a tune for later. Like always, the class passed by fast.

Leah went to her next class as soon as the bell rang. This time it was History and she knew that no matter what she was going to get bored.Sitting in her seat she pulled out her phone.Holding it in her lap she texted a few people quickly.

Alfie headed to English and changed the CD in his CD player, so he could have some variety. He had a few other songs he'd recorded on the other one, along with his favorite songs from his favorite artists. English was very easy, since he wrote all the time. The teacher announced that they would be going into their poetry unit right away, and Alfie smiled a little.

Leah glanced down at her phone and saw that someone has responded. Looking up at the front of the room she opened the message before glancing down to look at it.

What class are you in?
History.You?She typed back quickly before putting her phone away.

The teacher let them have free time, so while the rest of the class chattered away, Alfie took out his notebook and continued writing his lyrics. He decided he'd use this as his presentation poem, and turn it into lyrics then, since if he came up with a tune before then, he knew he'd end up singing it to the class instead of reciting it.

Leah didn't get a chance to check her phone again becuase the teacher gave them an assingment.Leah sighed.

This is so not fair.She thought to herself.It's the first day of school! Opening the heavy history book Leah began working on the paper while waiting for the bell to ring.

Alfie grabbed his notebook and put his pencil in his pocket as the bell rang. He picked up his backpack and swung it onto his back, then headed for his next class. The rest of the day passed by quickly, and as soon as the last bell rang, he almost ran to the music courtyard. He waited for everyone to leave, passing the time with his song and running through his dance over and over. It was the only thing that mattered to him, since the auditions were in a few days and he still hadn't landed his last flip right.
