Yotsuya Kaidan (四谷怪談), translates as Ghost Story of Yotsuya is about the story of Oiwa and Tamiya Iemon. It is a tale of betrayal, murder and ghostly revenge. Arguably the most famous Japanese ghost story of all time.

Original Story Summary:
A long, long time ago, a woman named Oiwa was married to a man named Iemon and they lived in Yotsuya. One day, a rich lady fell in love with Iemon and captured his heart with her money. Iemon obeyed Ito Kihei, the rich woman's grandfather and ordered his servant "Put a little of this medicine into Oiwa's every meal". Day by day, Oiwa grew weak, lost her hair and the left side of her face became deformed and her left eye drooped down to her nose. After this she was treated cruelly by the people around her and she died holding a grudge against them. After her death many strange things happened and all of the people who had mistreated her died.

This role play will be the first Kaidan in Gaia unlike xxxholic which was base on anime, maybe even the first Kaidan Online role play in the world (cause it is history?). Role players are allow to create their own ghostly creature, using ONLY famous Japanese ghosts or youkai instead of making the original Kaidan ghosts. BUT, the story background wouldn't be the same like the original Kaidan. It is set in the modern world. That is why our role play is name SHIN (translate as NEW in english) Yotsuya Kaidan. However, there are two family names fixed in this story. Which are the Yotsuya and Tamiya.
P/S: Oiwa Yotsuya, the wife of Tamiya Iemon must exist in the story as a GUY! Day as human; Night as a ghost.
Summary/Story:
It is said Tamiya Izanagi, the boy who is borned in a stormy night was the famous ronin samurai from hundreds of years ago, Tamiya Iemon. He is borned to return Oiwa, the vengful wife, who also the ghost who cursed and haunted Iemon for life an eternity favor. The night Izanagi turn 15, he started to able to see spirits. He thought they are harmless at first as long as he didn't do anything bad to them. But not every of them is harmless...Oiwa, has returned to force marriage with Izanagi. Will Izanagi marry Oiwa to fulfill the mission and his wish? Or Oiwa will leave Izanagi alone after realizing himself being history?

Ghost and Monster Species:
#Onryō (怨霊): A Japanese ghost who is able to return to the physical world in order to seek vengeance. While male onryō can be found, mainly in kabuki, the majority are women. Powerless in the physical world, they often suffer at the capricious whims of their male lovers. In death they become strong.
#Obake (お化け?) and bakemono (化け物?): Sometimes obakemono, are a class of yokai in Japanese folklore. Literally, the terms mean a thing that changes, referring to a state of transformation or shapeshifting. A bakemono's true form may be an animal such as
-A fox (kitsune)
-A raccoon dog (tanuki)
-A badger (mujina)
-A transforming cat (bakeneko)
-The spirit of a plant — such as a kodama.
#Hitotsume-kozō (一つ目小僧, "one-eyed boys") are monsters (obake) found in Japanese folklore. They are roughly the size of ten-year-old children and is a single, giant eye peering from the center of the face, along with a long tongue, much like a Tsukomogami monster.
(Tsukomogami (付喪神?, "artifact spirit") are a type of Japanese spirit. According to the Tsukumogami-emaki, tsukumogami originate from items or artifacts that have reached their 100th birthday and thus become alive and aware. Any object of this age, from swords to toys, can become a tsukumogami. Tsukumogami are considered spirits and supernatural beings, as opposed to enchanted items.)
#The Noppera-bō (のっぺら坊, Noppera-bō?), or faceless ghost, is a Japanese legendary creature. They are sometimes mistakenly referred to as a mujina, an old Japanese word for a badger or raccoon dog. Although the mujina can assume the form of the other, noppera-bō are usually humans.
#Yūrei (幽霊?) are figures in Japanese folklore, analogous to Western legends of ghosts. Alternative names include 亡霊 (Bōrei) meaning ruined or departed spirit, 死霊 (Shiryō) meaning dead spirit, or the more encompassing 妖怪 (Yōkai) or お化け (Obake). They are thought to be spirits kept from a peaceful afterlife.
-Onryō - Vengeful ghosts who come back from purgatory for a wrong done to them during their lifetime.
-Ubume - A mother ghost who died in childbirth, or died leaving young children behind. This yūrei returns to care for her children, often bringing them sweets.
-Goryō - Vengeful ghosts of the aristocratic class, especially those who were martyred.
-Funayūrei - The ghosts of those who perished at sea.
-Zashiki-warashi - The ghosts of children, often mischievous rather than dangerous.
-Samurai Ghosts - Veterans of the Genpei War who fell in battle. Warrior -Ghosts almost exclusively appear in Noh Theater.
-Seductress Ghosts - The ghost of a woman or man who initiates a post-death love affair with a living human.
#Ikiryō: In Japanese folklore, not only the dead are able to manifest their reikon for a haunting. Living creatures possessed by extraordinary jealousy or rage can release their spirit as an ikiryō 生き霊, a living ghost that can enact its will while still alive.

Bio: Said to have come into being on the day of Abe no Seimei's death in the year 1005, Noe has kept himself as a strong Kodama, by moving from Sakura to Sakura tree. It is said his power can keep a Sakura alive twice as long as a normal Sakura, and he never fails to violently curse anyone responsible for destroying his precious Sakura home. He was rumored to be a ruthless spirit that bore a beautiful disguise... and while he is incredibly beautiful... he is not as cold or mean as the rumors say. In fact, Noe prides himself on his loyalty and kind heart to those worthy of his attention.
He eventually befriended a ronin by the name of Tamiya Iemon. Noe knew of the murder of Yotsuya Samon, and that Iemon was responsible. However, due to his own loyal heart... he could not divulge the truth, not even when asked by Oiwa himself.
Upon learning of Oiwa's scarring and accidental death, as well as how Iemon left Oiwa in betrayal, Noe could no longer pledge his loyalty to Iemon (for fear that Iemon might one day turn on him), and he disappeared into the night. He then met with Oiwa's ghost and revealed to him what Iemon had done. Noe told Oiwa everything.
In his spirit form, Noe then watched Iemon spiral into insanity, until Yomoshichi put the man out of his misery.
As time passed, Noe continued to move from Sakura to Sakura, but he has not pledged his loyalty to another human since Iemon.
Crushes: He did love Tamiya Iemon, but found his loyalty betrayed by Iemon's actions.
Sexual Preference: Gay (uke)
Others: Noe has smoked since he can remember, and while he prefers a kiseru, in this modern age, he smokes cigarettes as well. Appearance: Long black hair and dark, almost black eyes, during time past, Noe enjoyed long flowing and brightly colored garments. Now however, tends to dress in dark colors in this new age. He continues to wear his hair long however. Noe has a lithe stature, fair skin, and is 5ft 8in tall.

Bio: She is the eldest ghost in the Gekkougan High School and owns the Ghost Community. It was said she was murdered and raped in the school and was burned alive in her own classroom. Her soul never leave the school until she finally got her revenge from the person who burn her alive. She vowed to work for Oiwa, who had promised to help her with her vengeance.

Bio: The incest twins. Their parents were divorced and has been forced to separate from each other many years. They met again in Gekkoukan High but after their parents find out about their incest, they are once again forced to be separated. Unwillingly to leave each other, they run away from home, promised and commit suicide together in the school. They were found dead and holding hands. Since then, they never been separated, always holding hands, like the day they died. They work for Oiwa and under Hanami's care.

Just a few helpful hints.
On your rule regarding anime characters, it might be better if you explained just what you mean. Reading over it, I find myself confused as to if you mean for the character image or for the character as a whole. Also, if you're meaning the character image, since it would be implying that someone needs to make their own character art... it may be taking people time to do that.
Another helpful thing would be to provide information links, not only regarding the Yotsuya story itself, but also for different types of youkai. This will certainly make an RPer's job easier.
Another thing is that when you use Japanese terminology, you need to try translating it. Granted you translated Yotsyua Kaidan, but then you kept using Kaidan and some players may be confused as to the word's full meaning (I'm also rather sure this RP is not the first Kaidan RP on Gaia... perhaps the first of this topic itself, but not the first revolving around Ghost Stories, especially due to "xxxholic"). Same can be said of "Shin"... you should probably provide a translation section just for reference.
Also, having this RP as a Beginner level, will mean a lot of people overlook it because they're after something more than a sentence or two for replies. You might want to consider making it of a higher caliber, especially since the RP would entail a bit of research on part of the RPer.
I'm guessing that English isn't your first language, so grammar aside, it's a rather good story idea. Personally, I don't know the story myself, though I understand a few youkai. It's just that the idea for the story is a bit confusing... thus why I suggest the added links for information and translations for those who don't speak or understand Japanese (which didn't phase me personally cause I kinda can, but may phase others).
Good luck though! The idea is certainly rather different and original!)))
