Oh for those of you new to rp-ing I can try and help you out if you want.
It's fairly simple once you get the hang of it.

First- You make a character. Most rp's have a template you can use (like me), and from that template you genneraly detail Age, appearence, personality, likes/dislikes, etc.

This profile is often placed on the front page of the rp to give other roleplayers a "point of reference" to make first impressions of how they will react to that particular individual. (or to help remind you how you set up your charcter in the begining)

Your character can be someone you make up entirely from scratch- or can be some representation of yourself. The important thing to remember is that you have to try and believably write how they speak and act. This is called "staying in character."

ex. If your character is a proffesional hitman who you've detailed as "serious bisness" he isn't going to spontaniously go "LOL GIEs HEADSHOT." Unless he's drunk/on drugs/depressed/schitsophrinic/suffers from multiple personality dissorder/ or any combination there of.

((also keep in mind that some dissorders are commonly used and not that original. Such as multiple personality dissorder, bi-polar dissorder, and/or schitsophrinia. However if feel you can breathe some new life into it, give it a shot.))

Second-Roleplay. Set up a sinario in the world for your character or join in another sinario another person's character may have already set up.

Think of it as a prompt and how your character would accomplish the goal of the prompt. I takes 2 to roleplay so you will be going through the story with someone else. Rps are all about interaction and relationships. How your character deals with others- Will they be protectors, deserters, or will they not realy give a damn? And how those relationships deal with the world.

---TLDR---
-Think of yourself as an Actor, your character is your roll. You want to play it to the best of your ability and give your audience a believable experience.

-It's all a story you write with your friends, so make sure you have fun with it! >;3

That is such a great outline of a roleplay. I have very little experiance with it and what always gets me stuck is making up my character. I should have had more practice but I can never get past that part hee hee... Yours sounds like fun and I hope to check it out sometime ^-^.
