I am getting this thing started so that we can get some funds rolling into the guild. Right now this thread is unorganized because I am writing in on the fly.
Basically we are going to sell art to the wonderful people of gaia. Everyone is welcome to make something to sell. I will make an application do to that soon, just so I have a list of people who want to help out. Each month is going to be a different theme with a special limited item for that month. Info about that later.

Here is some of the stuff from the fundraiser's thread about this that I am going to use in here.

Name: Ethereal Bake Goods Cookie Love
Setting:Bake Shop with a mythology feel. It would be an rp shop.

If we have a lot of Bakers sign up, we will rotate people so that we don't over whelm the costumer. Everyone will get a turn being apart of the shop.

There will be a list of items that you can draw below, but it isn't mandatory. As long as it's something that could be sold in a bake shop you can draw. There will be a limit of 5 different items you can make though. It can be either a set item that doesn't have anything to change about it, or it can be an item that has different options to it (color and such)

Bliss came up with some good ideas. We will have a freebie section that anyone can have. And then we will have a limited edition items that will change with the month.

I have made a special mule for this event to make things easier. All the transactions will go through that. The mule is: Goddess Adrasteia

I can't think of anything else right now, but if i do think of more I'll add this.

Waiters and Bakers

Only a few people can be waiters, but anyone can be Bakers. Look below to see how you would like to help out.

Waiters/Waitresses- They are in charge of taking the orders from the customers and letting me know what they got. They must be a strong rp to keep the flow of the shop going. And from time to time, they should either bump the store to keep the thread going. Oh and they must be active.

Baker- A Baker can be anyone in the guild. You have to make sure you are active when your rotation is up so that we don't have to wait a long time to get the art. Other than that, all you have to do is provide your bake goods. More details about all that will be brought up late.

Opening date for the shop: When ever we get more stuff in.

Waiters:

You will be in charge of getting the orders from the people and delivering it them. You will then collect the money from them and send it to the mule(the mules info will be down below). I will give you all the password for the photobucket account where the bake sale stuff will be held.

The Rp can be anything you would like as long as it fits with the theme of the shop.

Not necessary until the shop customers increase.


Bakers:

You each will get your own folder in the photobucket account where you will upload all of your bake goods to sell. When you upload you images, send me or the mule a PM letting me know if your item is a custom, premade, or a premade it color options so that I can add it to the menu. You can update your 5 items as often as you like to keep things fresh. I do ask that you have at least one item done for the opening of the shop.

Everyone will get a tip from the proceeds of the shop.(One per person. I.E. If you are a baker and a waiter, you will just get one for working in the shop). I'm not sure yet on how much you will get, but rest assured you will get a little something.(maybe)

I've drawn avi art before but when it comes to this bake sale, does it have to be drawn on the computer or can it be scanned?
Im considering being a chef since im on Gaia everyday.

Not sure if this is where i need to post, but I just wanted to state that I would like to help out with this. I just got a guild announcement-- and seeing how the bake sale was originally my pet project eons ago, I'd like to try to lend a hand with this. Be it baking or selling-- which ever is on the easy end of this as I wouldn't be able to be too reliable with how hectic life has been for me lately. At any rate-- I could always lend a few bumps. smile
