Im sure all of u have been annoied at the damn ships between each continent (they r kinda continents, i mean like Victoria island, ludi,orbis etc*) and i think they should replace the 10 mins ship ride (its about 10 mins) with a quick and simple teleport to travel less time more xp and more fun! ok do u think my idea is good or bad?

I can see both sides of the argument here. The ship rides are extreamly long and, if your alone, extreamly boring. But there is also the fact that it may take the server a bit to load or it's trying to prepare that part of the server for more people. There may also be a large gap in the data between these two areas and it takes a while to connect them. Plus if you have 1-2 people with you it can be a really good chance to promote friendship between other players. Not to mention having fun with them. I played a game of tag with four people going from Orbis to Victoria.

Although annoyed with them, I can see their practicality. People would be teleporting all over the place in no time if everything was instantaneous (that stalker you had can hunt you down in no time). It would render family teleport and Nexon's teleport rocks almost useless. Plus, without the ship from Vic to Orbis (and vice versa), there would be no crimson balrogs to hunt ;D At least most of the rides are free now ^-^;

yeah they should at least put it down for like 3 to 5 minutes then 10 cause the only reason y going to continents of the maple world is to go do quests and pqs and to get away from low levels who could possibly be hackers stare

If only there were a portal from outside Ellinia to get to Leafre, or a shortcut through Aquarium to get from Orbis to Ludi in a fraction of the time...

l had that its 10 mins laggy balrogs noobs and its like 4 ever

But seriously people, if everything was instantaneous, Maple would be so much worse. How many good friends have been made, how many relationships have been started on those ships? Stalkers would be able to follow you just as fast as you can get away, but with the ships you have a chance of getting away with ships. They probably have to load insane amounts of data to get you from one place to another, so its better than being stuck at a portal for 10 minutes. AND JUST USE ANOTHER WAY. You can get to Ludi from Orbis without a ship, you can get from Ellinia to Leafre and back.

And is it so hard to be literate? I'ts not like anybody is asking you to write a book, but at least know how to type correctly. That's what the spelling tests in Elementary School were for.

I guess I understand now that it may take a while to connect to that part of the server. It still annoys me, though. I wish they could cut down the time a little. It's just so boring when I'm there alone, and even more boring when no one wants to talk to me. >.<
I have a little appreciation for it, though. I guess it kind of feels a little realistic having to ride a ship for a certain ammount of time before getting to your destination. And it's always really cool to come across some Crimson Balrogs!

its basicly 15min all together.because it waits 5 min before take off then another 10 min to get to other destination..the orbis ride used to be shorter..i miss when it used to be a shorter ride..
