Zahmen II
I prefer post-metal.
Isis "So Did We"
I listened to yours, the voice threw me off
The beginning kinda dragged on for a bit, but then it got good.
I've heard of the band I've just never bothered to listen to anything by them.

The rest of the songs on that album are better.
I prefer-post metal because of the more uplifting chords and riffs.
Funnily enough most post-rock does, even though it's generally associated with apocalyptic imagery (World's end Girlfriend, Explosions in the Sky, Mono, Red Sparrowes, Godspeed You Black Emperor) in the artwork, the song content (The Dead Flag Blues by GSYBE literally starts off with a bit where an old sounding Indian man talks haggardly about the sky being on fire, and the end of days, all set to a sad violin).

I like the contradictory nature of post-rock music.
The Dead Flag Blues
The full song is like, twenty minutes, it segways from this, to a western sounding, violin backed piece titled The Last Cowboy (X) AND THE HAPPIEST THING EVER AS THE OUTRO (which starts at 4:17)

I don't know why I typed all that out =/
