Most people have an issue with an opposing deck type and can't figure out a way to beat it using the main cards played, try looking at other cards. One card in particular is great against Synchro Monsters, DAD, Judgement Dragon. Black Horn of Heaven What other cards are underused and powerful, likely to hit the ban list before anyone notices it? NOTE: I am not saying no one uses this card, just that many people stick to the meta decks they find online.

I toyed around with Horn of Heaven with Hopeless at a time, I was just capable of tributing a Dragon I could revive later.
But I completely forgot about it's counterpart...
Then again this was in a format when Solemn was running around silly. Now I might try it again.

i use one in my main deck and it works magnificently, the perfect counter to that opponent's special summon that could cost you the game =3

epic anti synchro: compulsory evacuation device they waste resources and the synchro goes back to extra deck and can't be call of the haunted target, vayued or otherwise.

to slow and most good decks dispatch your backrow before the big stuff hits.
It's not that we don't ignore it but it's because we have better options.

Well to start, Royal Oppression works to negate the Special Summon and effects that Special Summon, whereas Black Horn of Heaven, like Thunder King Rai-Oh and Solemn Judgment, can only do the former. Of course, that's not always a bad thing, but it's getting worse. To make use of the card means letting the opponent get away with a lot of optional plays beforehand, which will more likely than not stomp out the Horn before it finds the use.

Yes but it's a one shot ordeal and doesn't do anything else which can ultimately leave you a -1. More than likely it'll say wtf for a few seconds to the opponent but quickly get around it unlike certain other cards. Pheonix wing wind blast, a big F-You to synchros. Raiza/Caius best monarchs in the game that stardust can't touch. Bottomless trap hole, let them get their prio in, it doesn't really matter unless it's stardust. Brain control use their crap against them. Mind control same as brain. Plasma, stops their effects and gives him a reliquish effect. Oppression, stays on the field and does it's job. Thunderking, prevents deck search and can negate a special. Fossil dyna, flips destroys all specials then prevents special summoning in general Solemn we all know how good this card is, the ability to negate anything you want besides effects with no draw back cost, my kind of card. And again most good players take out your backrow before the big things hit a.k.a dark simorgh, dark armed dragon, judgment dragon, stardust *if not use dust to weave this stuff out*, colossal fighter, ect. ect. Yes I know I added multiple cards that aren't spell speed 3 but they still get the job done if not better. I mean for the starting player I would totally suggest black horn of heaven to get use to the meta but in a high competitive environment it will not work and only clump your hand.

There are a lot of issues here, such as most of your listed cards are a 2 for 1 price and can be chained too along with having additional costs. Then there's the issue of apparently waiting to destroy their back-row before summoning a big gun which means you have to wait and stall, possibly costing you the game. They aren't going to simply wait for you to get MST, which will only hit one random s/t, Heavy Storm, which they will probably have options around, or one of the monsters who are able to destroy s/t.

The thing with Black Horn of Heaven, though, is that it's not only underused, but misunderstood.
There are a lot of players, myself included, that thought this card was fantastic at first and actually maindecked 3.
But if you're not already aware of the ruling surrounding Black Horn of Heaven, I'll tell you.
Can it negate Synchros? Yes indeedy. Can it negate Judgment? But of course. Can it negate DAD? Yesireebob. Can it negate Monster Reborn? NO! Can it negate Call of the Haunted? NEIN! Can it negate Summoner Monk? NIET!
Remember, kids. It can only negate special summonings of cards that special summon themselves. If you special summon a card using the effect of any other card, it will NOT work.
Keep this in mind when running the card.
