Ok, I have been wanting to do this type of event for a while. So I decided to start this up to see how it goes.

Italics means we have confirmed this.

Idea:
Idea: Survivor type game but on Gaia. The contestants will have to go through challenges like on the show to win immunity, then vote each other off. Winner of the show gets a grand prize. After we do some "seasons" we have an allstar show. There will be an entrance fee to get to do the event. But as for the other details of the event, I still have to figure out.


Timeframe: 14 days, every other days is elimination.

Other: One thought I had was to everyone who gets into the competition, they get their own little doll kinda made like them.

Forum: It will be held in the chatterbox forum.

Setting for Season one: Luitti Island- A dangerous island that has a haunted past. It is said that under the moon light, the island's ghost relive their tragic deaths. Can you survive until the end? (better description later.)

Tribes:-The tribes are Calandra (which will be Blue), and Palinto (Green). But there are two tribes and we will put the people in the tribes at random.
Entrance Fee: I am thinking 1,500 or so.
Grandprize: A trophy we make,some gold, and an item(yet to be determined)
Number of Contestants: 8 has been decided.
Hosts: Lady Elmira, Revenge_is_sweet, and Sheriff Dustin will host the event. We shall think of spiffy names for them.
Rper:-Someone to post random event that the Tribes react to. Which is the wonderful Ninja_of_Clouds. They will be making a mule for this and act as announcer.
Post Styles:So that everyone know which team during the challenges, I was going to make the contestants post in their team colors.

Games: Hangman, the game where you have to make words out of a bunch of jumbled letters. I spy game,Trivia, Scavenger Hunt in towns or forums Dice Games with the roll a number.Riddles.

Places to do things in the Game:
Sunken ship; haunted house; Ghost town

Eliminations: We have decided over the course of 14 days, 8 people will be eliminated every other day. On off days we will do activities and such.

Who would be the host? What sub-forum should we use for the first season?

I am thinking me or someone who has good rping skills should be the host. They would also need to be active since the game would take place of a short span of time.

As for the sub-forum, I am looking into that too see which would be the best. As well as an advertisement thread type things to get people interested before hand.

I think the first should be in the GD, under mods approval that is.

Hmm, that's a thought. I also thought about putting in the Word Game Section under GCD. There are alot of people who go to that thread.

The GCD sniper game was in the GCD, before they made us move to a guild, therefore i'm not sure-i could contact someone and find out though.

As for other forums, the Word game forum comes to mind as well as the chatterbox & the exchange or money/lotto games. heart

Ok, I'll scoop around the Word Game and Chatterbox forums to see which would be the best. We do know that a ton of people go to the Chatterbox, I am just no sure if they do games that exchange coins.
