The Other Side (Shuro and sassiechicka)

A rich boy starts college not looking for anyone when he finds a fairly poor girl there.

Raylen walked onto the campus for the first time. This was her dream to better herself. She walked onto the steps that lead into the main building and stumbled. She dropped her books. This day was only beginning and it already sucked.

Kai had been walking by when the girl dropped her books. He hesitated before stopping. The gentlemen in him couldn't just leave a girl on the ground like that without at least asking if everything was okay
"You okay, Miss?" He asked.

Raylen looked up at the handsome gentleman, " Just a scraped hand. I'll be fine. "

He nodded nonchalantly.
"Need a hand?"  

[sassiechicka]

Raylen blushed, " Are you offering a hand? "  

[Shuro2009]

"If you need it." He shrugged, stretching out a hand to her.

Raylen looked at his hand and took it in her hand. She looked at the ground as she got up, " Thank you. "

"It's nothing." He said turning to walk into the school.

Raylen clutched her books to her chest and walked into the school. She quickly walked to her first class which happened to be algebra.

He didn't give much thought to the girl he had met that morning. After all, there were much more pressing matters....like how on Earth he was going to finish rearranging a particular song for his music class. He sat in the room for his class trying to get all the bits to fit together.

Raylen was quick to finish up her work. Math was one of her best subjects. She looked at her schedule and saw she had english next period.

He left the music room and moved to his next class, English. He hoped the break would be enough so that he could finish his piece.
