...Sorry, but I dislike it. Its good for if your just starting, but I'm not sure I would say its very good. even my pictures from two years ago look differant.. You could work on some stuff, like shading, anatomy, realizum, 3D effect, flow, angled faces, and so on and so forth.

I have never taken a manga/anime art class in my life. I started out in realistic art, and then after watching Yuu Yuu Hakusho(I was like 4 when I started watching) I desided to start manga/anime. The computer drawing you see in my last post was the second drawing I ever did on the computer.(<--also drawing was made almost a year ago) I don't know what grade your in, but if I did I could judge on how far your progression rate will be. I started drawing anime in the 7th grade.(acorn head stage) then in high school I started scanning my drawing's into the computer. The drawing below is from the 9th grade.

miss chocoluvr_13; youre going good, altho, there is a long path your drawing needs to get a natural look, flow a bit you see, they are a bit too rough, the moviments are too hard. how to fix: watch people and train. yes, it takes time, but you'll get really proud watch will also help at anathomy
dont forget, youre doin great, go on, right?? ^^
now you, miss OneWeekRainisu, shame on you ¬¬ would you like if people were rough at you or turn you down like that?? come on, and if it happened, stop bein grugdful and repeatin with others and i'll tell you what, youre also a amatur, and your drawinga needs a big improvement. if you want so bad to tell people how bad they are and how good you are comparing, at least be in another level and do it to HELP, not HURT
wanna talk about shadin, show a good piece of so with lots of examples what youre talkn about, yours arent enough, same foranatomy, realizum, 3D effect, flow and angled faces.
so, miss, how does it feel people talking with you without any politeness?

Your art is pretty good, but you'll need to work on some anatomy. But other than that I think that it's somewhere between a 7 and a 8. A 7.99999999999999999999999999 and on going! X3

I'm sorry for this, but I give you a...four. Don't get me wrong, your art isn't bad, just a little...under trained and practiced? Your drawings show a lot of potential for growth & development, which is really really good. Well, your anatomy is off quite a bit, but don't fret: most people start off and take a while to leave that stage. For your drawings, maybe you could look at photo's for reference, or even have someone pose for your drawing to get it right. It would help greatly as to finding how say the arm would curve and bend at a certain angle, or a foot would be positioned. For practice even, just snatch a few reference photos, and try drawing the poses. Now, with your lines. They're a bit hard and straight. Ah, I remember when I did that all the time...Well what you might want to consider doing is lightly sketching your picture first. Don't draw long lines in one stroke, try bringing your pencil down several times to do it, without putting heavy pressure. Then, you could try taking a pen over the lines VERY carefully. Add an eraser to get rid of the old pencil lines, and voila~! You have a clean, soft edged drawing. With practice of course. Now, this is more of a tip then critique. With shading, please don't say 'oh i can't do it, it's impossible' or something along those lines. Anyone can do shading dear. To learn how, tke scrap paper, start at one end, using light pressure with light strokes, and as you go along the paper, gradually increase the pressure to make it darker. Once you have that mastered, maybe try doing it with a circle, using a reference to check how shading falls upon it. Then, last but not least, try it on a drawing of yours, still holding a reference possibly to check it. With the shading though, sometimes you may want to do it on a drawing without pen lines, but just a simple sketched drawing. Well, overall, your art's pretty good for novice level, and with practice, you should be able to make it amazing. blaugh
