Hopefully someone hasn't made a topic like this already. Whenever I start a topic on ANY forum, someone always ends up making it before me x_x But, yeah. I'm sure I'm not (Or, at least I HOPE I'm not.) the only person here who has a difficulty saving up money or something, and thus not leaving much for music. So, basically, know of any musicians that offer music for free, under creative commons, etc.? Jamendo is a site that has music under creative commons (basically, free for you to download or use so long as your not making a profit from it without having to worry about legal crud) and they have tons of music in pretty much any genre, and a lot of its pretty good (but I'm tone death, so you know...). If your into metal and/or industrial, I suggest all:my:faults, which you can find on there. They be german >w> ( Once again, tone death. I'm not accountable if you totally think they suck ._.;; )
Tl;dr: Post gudgud artists that offer free music. And sites where you can illegally dowload music that does cost music do not count.
MOD EDIT: We do not advocate illegal downloading here on Gaia or in the GotGothGuild; please do not do so or encourage others to do so and remember to respect the laws regarding media downloads of your country.

I've been wondering the same thing.... one thing I use to always do is to check out all the different myspace music artist pages, alot of them offer free downloads, but you don't always get the entire song when you download. There again, it's been about a year since I've even visited myspace (and I hate facebook), so maybe it's changed a bit.
