I care for you so deeply
Wanting a smile to grace your face
You deserve all the love and attention in the world
And I try so hard to give you all I can
I am willing to spend my entire life with you
Keeping you content and always amused
You are my knight in shining armor
You are the wolfen mate to my soul
I wish to thoroughly please you each moment I may
And I freely give my mending heart completely up to your love
I'm so lucky to have found a man like you
Who loves me for me and backs me up without question
I love you so much, my sweet wolf
I can't wait to forever be your everlasting love.

Seems more a statement or testament of feeling ... call it an oath or vow if you will but not quite a free verse poem. Still, the feeling rings clear and true and definitely gets attention. Not bad smile

I can see this being used as something someone says to another character in a story quite easily. It shows an intense feeling and devotion that's almost (but not quite - notice the mending heart and the necessary need to have the lover "back them up") complete surrender to the relationship, but it comes from a person who has a sense of self. A wolflike self but you could substitute if the wolfen idea did not quite fit what you were trying to do. Would make an interesting character for a story/book. There's room to grow here.

Okay, now seriously, I liked this a lot ^.^

The pure, real love it radiates; the surrender, the gratitude. The poem kinds of foreshadows (thats son not the word) a past, like it is the ending of a story that is just beggining. I would love to now more of this "character", and her soultmate.
