There is now a feature. Which allow the captain of a guild. To send a message to all of there members. I just recently received this. From a guild I belong to. That has been dead for a few months.

But it's an example of what this guild could do as well. This feature could be used. To notify members of holiday contests or events that are going on.
My own two cents about guild management.
All that own guilds. There is one very important piece of information. That you need to understand to be a good leader. It is NOT the members obligation to provide your guild with activity. It is your obligation to provide the members. With a reason to post.
