The title of this post pretty much says it all... sweatdrop I have never had a boyfriend...well...when I was younger but that doesn't count. I was childish xd ...anyways...Guys have never taken an interest in me...There's this one guy I like at my school and we're kind of friends but we hardly ever talk...I think that the reason guys won't go out with me is because of the way I dress...(goth/lolita/victorian type clothes) and no other girl at my school wears stuff like that... I need help! I'd like a boyfriend but I'm not going to change the way I dress or look....
Advice?

If you want a boyfriend so desperately, simply change the way you dress/act/whatever that may scare them off.

But I think it's better for you to wait until you find someone who accepts you as you are, without having to change anything.

Try opening up yourself a bit more to the world. Get to know different people.

I know what you mean, girl.

It's almost the same for me, except for a few minor details. But I can say this: find guys who have interest simular to you and talk to them. Everything is always better when you speak up and act outgoing.

Thanks...although the problem is...the guys who go to my school (and who have) the ones who have the same interests as me...well...(my guy friends) well...they are slightly annoying sweatdrop thanks for the advice though....although, I suppose I don't really need a boyfriend..

Mayb ur style mite b the problem
too much dark stuff
ppl at ur skool mite not b use to that and
might find it weird just cuz
ppl in that area dont dress like that

but at the same time its ur choice on ur style n wat u wear
n a guy should value you for u
and not wanna change u

but u can still dress better change ur wardrobe a lil
with a lil less goth look
u can still have sum just dont over due it

den ppl will start notcin the difference

ull have more style n more colors other then blck
but still b ur self n have ur own flavor

You can wait for the right person to meet with you OR you can actively pursue this matter, and try and find someone who accepts you for you. However, keep in mind that you should find someone whom you can have a long term relationship with, whom you are willing to spend much needed time with him.

Looking for a boyfriend should not be temporary but rather possibly looking for a partner in marriage. This is just my opinion though.

No rush in getting a boyfriend, just take it easy for now.

Really, having a boyfriend while you are in school is extremely overrated. I'm sure that your style and attitude are factors in how people behave towards you. They always are. However, do you really want to date someone who gets scared off so easily? Or who annoys you? You are involved in a tiny, tiny corner of humanity.

The perils of not having a date, though perilous, are not that serious. Just wait until you leave school and enter a larger environment. You'll find someone who likes you, dark clothing and all. And more importantly, you'll find someone who you like.
