They should hire that AMV maker to make a trailer for them. XD

Haven't seen any lately that caught my interest. I check for funny videos regularly though, did you know you can sort newest to oldest when you search? It's really convenient.

So, anyone here make AMVs and the like?

I make AMVs, but I don't know of any website I could download clips of Ghost Hunt from.
I could buy the DVDs, but I don't know how to get clips off a DVD and onto a computer.

Hmm...I have the DVD's but I don't know how to get it on the computer either. Maybe if I could figure out how, I could send you the clips....I'll have to do some research...

Well, that was quick. I think I may have found a good program! It's called Aimersoft DVD Ripper. I'm using the trial right now, but if it works well I may just buy the full version! It's ripping the first DVD right now, and it looks like it's going to take a while. That's okay, I can wait. I'll just do other stuff while it's making the file. It's making the whole dvd (episodes 1-4) into one file, but I think I can go in and "crop" the file into seperate files, one for each episode.

Anyway, if I do buy the program, I think I'd be able to send you the file(s) in mp4 form.

Edit: OMG, there's like, a hundred file types to choose from! What file type do you use for AMVs?

Edit2: So, mp4 is perfect for my iPod Touch, but not good for AMV's, cuz, well, it's tiny. If you were to "blow it up" to use for an AMV, it would be all pixelated and yucky.

Edit3: I've also learned that in addition to changing the file format, I can change the audio and subtitle tracks! I wonder how I would go about turning off the audio...although whatever program you use to make AMV's should be able to remove the audio too, right?

Um.
In answer to what I think you're still asking, .wmv and .wma are best for Windows Movie Maker, which is what I use.

And yeah, I can deal with turning off audio myself. Subtitles not so much.

Alright, so as soon as I get the full program, I'll start converting the entire show into one of those formats. I think I'll wait and see if anyone gets if for me for my birthday, next week Yeeee! whee So it will be at least a week till I start making the files.
