I have a question.

How do you do scale blisters properly? Got some mixed results. Also, some ANPR holos were lighter than some commons, is that right?

I personally feel that scaling isn't worth the effort it requires as you not only have to have a scale, but you also need to make sure that none of the employees where you're trying to scale these packs actually sees you do this. This is just my honest opinion. Feel free to take it or leave it at your leisure.

However, to scale them right, you need to make sure you have a scale that's calibrated to a very very very high sensitivity. You may have gotten mixed results due to lack of said calibration as well as potential outside interference such as dust, dirt, and any other number of factors.

It's pretty sensitive. It's also a .00 scale.

Things would come up as like 24.50-25.00 and only some of them would be holos. There would be 24.14 packs that had no holos.

My friends and I just got into scaling, and we've noticed that we always get better results with the lighter packs/blisters/SE boxes.

I've noticed that the heavier packs (where we scale anyway), especially in blisters, tend to have this sort of security chicklet that adds some weight to it.

What pack did you notice they came out lighter?

Well we scaled a bunch of Light of Destruction, bought the lightest, pulled a Guardian of Order.

Then we scaled some Duelist Genesis. Bought the lightest, pulled a Ghost Stardust.

I've heard some places will actually spray stuff on the packs to throw scales off. Anyway, I think you get better results from a flex test.

Bending the pack. Holos are harder to bend.

Exactly. Plus, shopkeepers tend to give you less dirty looks than with scaling.
