William Blake. He's my favorite poet. I would describe him as a writer of dark poetry. I studied him when I was in literature and totally fell in love with him.
Here's my favorite poem:

The Sick Rose

O rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.


I'm also a big Shakespear fan, but my favorite Shakesperian sonnet is too long to put here ^_^

....I like poetry that comes from raw emotion....whatever the emotions are....I feel those are some of the greatest...whether it creates a picture...or just the feelings itself....

But for the most part I never pick a single genre for... anything. Music, Books, Movies. For me it's pretty much anything. Depending on my mood.

For me, it(believe it or not) depends on what zodiac year it is. My mood changes according to what chinese xodiac year it is, therefore, my preferences do as well. sweatdrop Currently, I am into blood and gore songs as well as suicidal songs. I've written several now. I doubt that they are any good, though.
