well i eneterd a the draft tournament and lost at the semi finals.if i wouldve won i wouldve gotten an ancient fairy dragon playmat but oh well.i pulled a secret rare XX SABER GARDESTRIKE and some other x sabers. i also pulled a few koaki cards.in the sneak peak i started discussing the banlist and a few friends told me that gale will be at one and so will solemn judgment.monster reborn,crush card,and card of safe return are all band.chaos sorcerer will be at two and call of the haunted will be at one.
anyway i wanted to know if x sabers and koakis will be big.(in the sneak peak i won a stardust,RDA playmat.YAY!)

I can see some form of Dragon Oppression popping up with Koaki Drago...but not much else...

The sneak was rather dull, in my opinion. Then again, after hearing the list, I was more anxious for what I could have gotten from the Turbo Pack(mentionably, Doomcalibur Knight).
Made the move to drop any idea of Blackwings that I had then and there, since Gale's being limited. It'll just be a one-track deck with Vayu from here on out. Didn't want to deal.

It's not exactly clear if Gale will be restricted to one. And even if it is that doesn't mean that Black Feathers will suffer as heavily.
For my sneak preview I got Ultimate Vayu, Fortune Lady Fiery, Faultroll, and Dark-sea rescue. These of course are the only ones worth mentioning. I traded Vayu for Ultimate Armor Master since its ability sucks. I also traded Faultroll for DSF and Elphin the Raven, which I'll be selling before the ban. The rest wasn't so interesting.

i get wat u mean but blackwings did get support like mistrival and fane.what worries me is solemn judgment at one.that just changes the game completely.the majority of decks do need solemns exept for lightsworns and maybe blackwings.anyway i dont wanna trade my koaki and x sabers cause they might just get big enough.il wait till stardust overdrive comes and see if the deck is good

Because Gale dropped down to 1, it's clear what the main Synchro engine is becoming, and so the deck will modify itself to fit this condition. It's effect to not be destroyed by battle and reduce strong monsters to weaklings is negated. Activate Skill Drain to negate it and other monster's effect. Or activate Book of Moon and switch it to defense mode, then flip it back over, giving its power back.* You know what, never mind. I'm starting to see your point.

can one of you please explain it to me?i really dont get(im such a noob lol)i think vay is a horrible card and i dont see the point of it.why remove two monsters from play just to synchro when u can synchro normally with the other tuners and just send them to the grave

The difference is this: You have two monsters on the field, and tune both for one Synchro. Your field loses two monsters, and gets one in return. You remove monsters from the graveyard, and your field gains a Synchro monster. Technically, your field itself loses nothing from this, only gains. It's the same principle as Mezuki during 2008; you're getting monsters, for free. Kenshin Yuki, Skill Drain gives that advantage of evening the playing field. When your effectless Armor Master attacks your Gladiator Beast opponent's set Hoplomus and it lives thanks to Waboku, they reach for their Murmillo, and find it without an effect. Lightsworn halts the mill that's necessary to speed the deck, and all hopes are on Honest and an effectless Judgment Dragon to knock the Synchros down. Skill Drain also offers the advantage of using Vayu on the field. So when you go summon that Armor Master and send Vayu and Elphin to the Graveyard, remove them from the game to get another. If anyone thinks to play D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation, they can potentially get a Stardust Dragon or Colossal Fighter onto the field; Synchro Monsters that will still work with Skill Drain active.

i want to know because as some of you may know i am building a blackwing deck but know im have second thoughts
