Going Away

I'm going camping from the 31st until the 3rd, hopefully this will finally be an effective cure in my art rut. I'm gonna bring my camera and colored pencils just encase I feel the mood. I always feel more artsy when I'm around nature ^^ Well I hope to upload some new things when I get back! See you all in a few days.

Take a digital camera and PLENTY of batteries. Get shots of everything.
Also, of course as you said bring your sketchbook and just have at it. You can do some life studies if you want or just take in the atmosphere and make whatever marks and colours on the page that come to mind.

I never really had time to sit and draw, then again we were in the black rock desert, so I spent most of my time in the water (we were at the Squaw Reservoir), I took a few pictures of dragonflies, and of the storm we were stuck in while I was there XD It was a lot of fun, now I'm sunburned, but feel strangely refreshed ^^ I shall post up my pictures as soon as I find my battery charger, my camera takes a special battery, so I couldn't bring extra batteries, because they are expensive ^^;
