Order of Operation is something I made up but there might be an official term. I've learned through playing the DS game a lot that card placement/timing is important. For example, if you have monsters that you plan attack with, and a monster you plan to set. Don't set it before attacking, do it in your 2nd main phase.

Another may or may not work on humans, but when setting mutilate magic/traps, place the one you absolutely can't do without last. I've found that if someone sets 2 cards, when my turn comes, the one they put down first is the Mirror Force/Bottomless/Torrential.

So now that you understand, anyone have any?

Anata wa watashi ga zutto mae ni "sayounara" to yutta hito wo omoidasaseru.

Always attack with your weakest monster first, then ascend in attack strength in-case of Gorz.
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

I notice when i've had a strong monster for a few turns(2500+), if i place a smaller monster in def (ex. Mecha Bunny), they attack it.
Gotta love bait monsters.... cool

Everyone should know to set a monster in your Main Phase 2 if you are planning on attacking. Also the order you set S/T is irrelivant as if everyone set them the same way it would make it easy to hit the best card.

Remember though MST and Heavy Storm are good cards to set if you have no other S/T to set. They make good bait to get your opponent to destroy them instead of your other S/T, which if they try your MST you can chain and kill one of their other S/T giving you 2 for 1. And if you have a S/T and they have none, they will set about 2 or 3 S/T so your turn you can flip your only S/T, Heavy Storm, and really annoy them.

When my oppponent sets two cards down, I always feel the first one is the most dangerous.

So when I Mst, I always pick the first one.

It never works v.v

This one is a no brainier but, if you've got Spell/Trap destroying cards and you plan to use them, do it before you summon your monsters. I can't count the times I summoned a monster while holding MST or Stamping Destruction to get Torrential Tribute.

If you attack your opponent while they have face down Spell/Traps and they don't activate them, but than they set a card or two, destroy them first. The old cards are probably bait/bluff either way you're just safer destroying the newer cards.

In my game I had judgement dragon out and a lumina(in attack mode) the opponent brought out F.G.D and attacked lumina instead. So I just killed it with judgement dragon's effect afterwards.
