When the night arrives All lights will fade As the darkness strives To hide these blades I softy sing The song of death Hear church bells ring Of life bereft
The stream of red Will not be seen Nor words be said Of things that’s been For no one sees Or will ever hear The haunted screams Of you my dear
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The tales I've told may not seem like anything at all All the lessons I have taught vanished, after all Do you even remember my face I thought you said you loved me Now there's not even a trace of everything that could be
As I sit here on the sidewalk and see you passing by If I walked up to you and talked whatever would you say? That you're happy with your boyfriend I saw kissing another guy That your work is going so well when you got fired yesterday?
Though hard and cruel it might seem I'm happy you broke up For what else could my life be with all these people sucking up And asking but for money one dollar, or just one cent Since I got filthy rich, oh honey And that's the way it went
Without you I was someone Whilst with you I was none So thank you for your cheating And that finally you're gone --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ehrm, I haven't written anything for a long time, and all of a sudden the first one just popped into my head sweatdrop Though the second one is mostly a filler-up, I don't like posting just one poem.....
I don't think anyone knows this, but I'm writing on comissions, so if you want a poem or short-story about anything you can just ask me and we'll talk about it smile
