Yaoi has done it's job when you start to see yaoi subtext in old classic black n' white films. Seriously, I was watching a collection of mobster movies I own and my Yaoi mind got rolling at some of them. I was like: "Yea, there is so much going on here besides what we see." It's terriable, well not really but it's just funny to me. I neve thought I'd be thinking like this. You should've seen me when I started thinking about Scarescrow and Tinman pairings after watching Wizard of Oz with yaoi on the brain. Then again my brain has always been screwy. LOL!

Ahh, that's life for us, is it not? mrgreen Hmhm, after awhile it gets somewhat hard not to think/notice these things. Even when learning bits of Shakespeare plays for English... The most annoying part might be that there's no fandom or anything, boo.
You know, if you're able to track down the newer retelling/tv special sequel to the Wizard of Oz, Tin Man, you'd probably like it a lot. When I watched it I wouldn't help thinking that some of the lines between Cain and Glitch (basically the Tin man and Scarecrow in this version) seemed a bit subtexty... To say the least.

I have to agree with you. Yaoi does do that to your brains... it has this mystical brainwashing power. Even if you can't help it, you just can't help but to notice it everywhere.

I am guilty for doing that..a lot.
Whenever I watch Supernatural I pair up Dean and Castile. Seriously, i yelled at "Hug him Cass. Dean needs love!" once. >_>
I squealed during the last episode of season 4 when Cass pushed Dean up against the wall. ^_^ They were very close.

One time, I told my boyfriend that I was just gonna lie down and think about yaoi. He asked if he was going to be involved in my yaoi thoughts.
Stuff like that would indicate how badly a person is messed up by this stuff. <3
