I have the card Victory Dragon and was wondering about it's effect, it says "When this monster attacks your opponent directly and reduces their life points to zero, you win the match." Does that mean it has to reduce their Life points to zero with it's attack or an effect?

It has to do all of the things listed at the same time, attack directly and remove your opponents LP to zero with that attack.

Of course all duellists surrender before this point and continue onto the next duel.

You can surrender on your opponent's turn?

That's a bit cheap, don't you think?

I mean...even for traditional. If you actually let your opponent summon and directly attack with Victory Dragon...yeah...you deserve to lose the match...
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

At the time of Victory Dragon, it was more simplistic to do so.

The game was not as fast-paced as it is now. It's not surprising to say the least.

Basically Victory is based upon tournament rules of matches....that's why it is banned as well as his brothers(other match winner cards) but yeah you gotta lower your opponent's life points with the card to zero so you can win the match
