On my hands that I did,I need to know how to properly proportion my fingers the right way.On my Bambi picture,I could use some work on his expression that way he doesn't really look mad.The dragon picture I did is really uneven.I'm not so sure what's wrong on my Pokemon pictures though.Well, overall,I need help with my hands and how to properly proportion my pictures.

okay hands. hands are so hard. just so we know out of the 200 some bones in the human body a hand has about 26ish bones. the articulation is have makes it so weird for artists to get right.

in this drawing i used colors to rep differnt things.

blue is the 5-eye grid
greenish teal? is the hand outline
black is the bones
red is the relationship of thumb and fingers.

1st off i did make some mistakes the base of the hand the row of things should be arching following the red line.
the pink came out fat.

okay on to the good stuff
this is gonna sound weird and obvious but the middle finger is in the middle of the hand. a common mistake is to draw the index/middle on one side and ring/pink on the other and the thumb as a whole sperate entity.

our fingers as they come out of the wrist don't quite sit evenly. its common to think that the difference in knuckle length as a difference in finger length. its is really a combination of both.

lastly when drawing a hand while it is articulated think of it kinda like a plant or a tree. draw it out from the wrist and put in each segment. then stand back and look at it to make sure it looks okay. then do the whole detail thing.

here is a quick red line of one of your hands

i hope that helped i'll come back for bambi later. remind me tho xD
