How are quotation marks supposed to be formatted? It always bothers me when the Quotes don't look right, so how is it supposed to be done?

You use quotes when the character is speaking, like this:

Jez lightly touched the boys lip's, "Why do you have to leave me?" She said a hoarse whisper.

Kinda short but i hope it helps. biggrin

(Sorry if the apostrophes aren't right my friend is over and I'm having issues. )

What about when multiple people are talking. As in you have a random interaction with some non important character? I thought there was some rule about a new line for each person talking... or something like that?

Ah, for multiple interactions you would go like this:

Jez smirked at the dangerous looking man. She knew why he was here, and he would not take her away, even if she was the only person that could keep the world from ending. "I know who you are, and you aren't so tough." Jez sneered.
The man grabbed her arm tightly."Then you know why the circle needs you." The man said, "You are coming back with me."

When you are talking to a non important character within your own post you would make a new line so it would not get confusing for the people reading the post.

If I may make a suggestion--

In roleplays, in order to keep it less confusing, especially if you're trading dialogue back and forth, like so--

Quote:
"Are you sure about it?"

"Yes, I'm pretty damn sure. Why are you so uppity?"

"Just nervous, I guess."

You can make use of bold, italic, and color options to separate the characters, like so.

Quote:
"Are you sure about it?"

"Yes, I'm pretty damn sure. Why are you so uppity?"

"Just nervous, I guess."

Now you can tell that there are not two people talking, but three.

Does this help?
