About a month ago during class we were asked to write a poem that was no longer than 6 lines, this was pretty difficult for me, as I prefer longer poems. This is what I came up with.
A tortured soul I am no longer
For even though these chains cling to me
My mind has been set free
By an emotion no body could contain
(I know its bad, but we only had 5 minutes)
What I'm getting at here is that I wanted to know if there was anyone out there who wanted to try writing 2-6 line poems. It's not as easy as it seems. To get and entire idea or feeling into such a compact space is fairly difficult.
