I need some suggestions for acoustic songs, that are nice to play around a campfire, or just in a group of people.
I'm quite good at most on playing acoustic, and know a bit about fingerpicking.
But please, any song you like in particular (acoustic) please post here!

Thank You!

Well if you're looking for a good song or two, go browse around Ultimate Guitar, that's where I go for all of my tabs. It's really just the best place I've found for them, there are tabs for most songs I've ever searched for.

If I were going to play something around a campfire I would probably go with Trapeze Swinger, by Iron and Wine. It seems a bit complicated when you first look at it, but it can be simplified.
The only real drawback is that it's like nine minutes long.

The longer the better.
I'd search for tabs, but I'm all out of songs to search for (why would I be asking here if I knew what to search?) and wanted to hear some suggestions.

I'll check it out right away.

Heh, now that you mention it that was rather silly wasn't it?

This is the tab I'd use, it explains it all very well. And the lyrics to the song can be found here.

Other songs I'd suggest are:
Two headed boy-part two
Car

Lemme know if I'm on the right track and I'll find some more for you.

Here, I'll just send you the UG for all of Sam Beam's music. This man is the kind of musician I want to be.

Iron & Wine

Also, I can't blame you for not being especially excited about Neutral Milk Hotel, they're an acquired taste I'm finding.

"Life by the Drop"--Stevie Ray Vaughn

"My s**t's ******** Up"--Warren Zevon

Edit: "Zebra"--John Butler Trio (it's easy to convert to solo acoustic)
