I was just looking back on the TAKUMI side story, and I realized what a wonderful friendship he really has with Reira--Probably more than anyone else. This isn't particularly about a romantic relationship (because we all know how Reira feels). But the two really do care about each other, which is apparent several times in the series. I can see how Hachiko is concerned, haha.

What do you expect happened in the time-skip part of the story?
I love that no matter what happens in the NANA series- that there is a nice friend foundation throughout
Also other great friendships: Nana and Nobu, Hachiko and Junko, Yasu and Ren...to name a few.

Personally I like Hachi and Takumi together (not as mush as when she was with Nobu), and its unfortunate that he cares so much about Reira to never be in a lover-type relationship.
