Lately I've sort of hit a plateu in my weight loss and I think I need to do something a bit drastic to get it going. No, not surgery or eating only one egg a day, but maybe cutting some more calories?
I was thinking of doing that whole thing Special K promotes. The whole, "Eat two bowls of special k a day and lose weight!" Or, in other words, for two meals eat cereal.
A. Do you think this would work? B. If not, can you tell me something that might?
I have a date looming over my head to get my belly pierced and I really want to finally get this done (I've been wanting it for years) so I'm slightly stressing that I won't make it.
Anyone got any tips?

It's really silly. The idea is that Special K is low calorie, the same thing works "eat watermelon all day and lose weight!"
You'd be better served to eat broccoli with a glass of soy milk for two meals per day. You'd get some real nutrition.
These kinds of diets are just that. Diets and you *will* gain the weight back because you haven't learned anything about how you should be eating for you.

it's not healthy.. just eat smaller portions. keep up with your original plan and don't let yourself get down if you eat something you shouldn't eat every once in a while. :3

I'm already eating smaller portions though, that's the problem. I am eating under 1,200 calories and day and working out and the weight's not coming off. ]:

Are you varying your work outs? You burn fewer calories as your body gets used to a work out. Try something entirely new from what you usually do and see if that works.
Don't eat less than you are now. 1200 calories a day is almost unimaginable for me because I get to passing out if I eat less than 1500 and try and do anything physical.

sweatdrop you're not eating enough.. what DO you eat?
I didn't lose any weight either even though I ate under 1200calories a day when I was heavier. those are poor eating habits and wont do you any good.
remember to eat your breakfast too, it starts up your metabolism..

i also think you arent eating enough probably. Have you been eating around 1200 for a while? I was having between 1200 and 1500 for about a year when the weight loss stalled, so now im increasing it to see if that works

Boost your fiber and water intake. Fiber and water have been probably the biggest part of my weight loss.
And it;s not HOW MANY calories you;re eating, it;s the QUALITY of the calories you;re eating.
1200 calories of green veggies, lean protein, and whole grain, is going to benefit your workouts, and help you lose weight. 1200 calories of icecream on the other hand...
