hey i'm kizu

anyway i've gone over the biblical refrences of the noah and black order groups in another DGM guild i'm in but i was wondering if anyone has another take on my theory. i'd love to hear your opinions and debate ((friendly)) about certain things with you! heart

MY THEORIES THUS FAR!!!

The earl is representative of God. He wishes to eradicate the world of its sin and start anew by destroying humanity and giving himself a clean slate upon which to work.

the noah represent the 12 apostles. although the noah are fourteen in number, if you examine the stations of the cross, you will find that jesus had two female disciples. Mary Magdalene and Veronica were in attendance at his nailing, and had a station where they wiped the face of jesus. Mary Magdalene was also, in some circumstances (the last dinner painting) alleged to be the love of Jesus. Road is most likely a representation of this character while lulubell represents Veronica, with a less important role.

the other disciples are most likely as follows:

Peter- Tyki *closest to the earl*
Paul- Jasdevi
Luke- Skin
John- Sheryll

and of course the obvious is the role of Judas, played by the Fourteenth. The one who betrayed the lord.

the reversal i spoke of earlier relates to how those considered "evil" in D Gray Man carry the name of those considered "good" in the bible. The black order, however, holds a name clearly with a dark intent, while their intentions in the show are "good"

in their ranks Allen is most likely supposed to represent Jesus. He is the 'light' and 'hope' of the world.

the rest of my theory is vague, and very much so reaching, but if anyone is curious feel free to ask and i will tell, though it is easily isputable.

so much history XD
its like trinity blood with abel and cain
-------------------
and your abit wrong on that, because Jesus never fell in love
and the earl in made from a real life alchemist >< not god
all that is kinda backwards sweatdrop

uhm nice... too much to read sorry uhm well a good theory but do you realy think the author did think that far? whee
also I cant realy agree with your theory...
hmm... what the noahs are said to be (dunno how say it) I am not certain but I read it somewhere in the manga

tiky noah of pleasure <- not sure about
road noah of dreams
lulu noah of lust *
skin wrath *
14th player
twins ??
sheryll ??

* means that they are deathsins or how they were called however it realy might have a connection but I dont think a connection in that way

also I think the earl is something completely other... mentioning alchemist i thought at nicholas flamel..

but whats with the others I am not sure of...theorys over theorys...
yes! nicholas flamel/earl *hugs* ty miranda
and aside from that, most of her theorys aren't true

I think your idea is interesting, though I dont really see how that part with the Noah representing the apostells would fit into the story. sweatdrop

I also dont believe that the author intended to create many similarities with the bible... wink

I don't remember where he said he was made by an alchemist but I do know about a 99.9% chance the earl is based off of Earl Grey (probably 1st not Charles) he was famous for looking as if never aging(among other things)

Also has a tea named after him 4laugh (also its pretty good tea blaugh )

its in the first vol of the manga, about the earl and the real person he is made from whee
PostPosted: Fri Jun 12, 2009 3:58 am

hmm tea is never bad dunno about the person but it actualy might be true that the author had the earl grey tea in mind.
but then again why millenium? (1000 years)
I still cant get rid of the idea that there is a connection to some mysterious person in the history or in tales...
other ways... what do such persons (Mangaka) have in mind?

unfortunate that there is nothing like mindreading... neutral whee even though it is also good that there is nothing like that ^^

While your hypothesis sounds incredibly ledgible (AND DOWN RIGHT AAAAAAWWWWWWWEEEEESSSSOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEE!!!!!)I don't think Hoshino-san had any intention for them to relate that much.

some of that akes sense to me,although since im jewish,i dont know all the details, and im 100 percent sure the author DID think that far into itand much deeper.they always do,its the base of the entire series.although i know parts of that are wrong, some parts of your theory actually make sense xp
