There's places like skuz and blue banana, but they're more a blend of alternative than goth. There used to be krimzon castle, but they've closed down and gone far more hippy and club online.

Closest I can think of is two stalls in the city market and a shop in the city centre - the hex box, which is mainly incense and piercings, but does do some clothing. Midnight is a vinyl stall, but does a few band shirts and hooded jumpers. The shop is premier leathers, which is more of a bikers shop but they do sell other bits as well.

Mostly it's a case of buying clothes from the more 'normal' shops, second-hand shops and getting materials, trims dyes etc from the right stalls and shops. Then proceeding to personalise.

Description: The fabric store and more!
Where: somewhere in most major cities in the US

every great once in awhile they will recieve shipments of fabrics that are more geared toward the gothically inclined.

Spring line: Medium weight linens, cotton.
Summer line: cotton jersey, lightweight linens
fall line: best time of year for goths. lots to choose from.
Winter line: heavyweight twills, though you have to really look for the best stuff buried throughout all the christmass crap fabrics.

I don't buy my clothes locally. I either make them myself, have them made, or buy them when I'm out of town.

Only store around were I live is walmarts at best. So I just stick with net if I want something realy nice, otherwise I make my stuff.

Both around here in Lakewood, Ohio. Great stores. I bought an awesome pair of boots from Chainlink Addiction that I wore to my senior prom. They've served me well in the years since.

Most Target, I get my black sundresses and cardigans there.

The closest "gothic" store I know of is 2 hours away, and is called London Rock. That doesn't include HotTopic, which is about half an hour away, but in USA, and I'm in Canada (right at the border to Michigan).

I buy stuff from wherever. The band T-shirt stand in the mall, Bluenotes (and other alternative stores), Wal-Mart (!!!),
