So my Question

Serrano: So here is my question to you all. I bought Pokemon Emerald. I want to catch a Lugia and or Ho-oh and the only way to get them if from an event that was 5 years ago and you would have to get a special ticket. you can use a game shark to get that ticket.

would you consider the pokemon hacked if you use a hacked ticket to get to the area? because the area it self is not hacked I'm still catching the the pokemon normally. I'm just using the Game shark to gain access to the area that is part of the game. just it is "locked" Unless you have the ticket.

So your thoughts.

If you hack any part of the game to get to the required Pokémon, it is considered hacked.

Unless that particular event is not considered hacking then no it isn't hacking. Hacking to get the ticket is yes but i don't think the pokemon you wanted to get by hack isn't hacked.

Well, technically it is since you used a game shark...
but there's no other way to get the pokemon.
I wouldn't consider it hacking.

I know this topic is old, but I certainly WOULD consider it hacking.
With Emerald, it's more difficult to get those Pokemon, but they can be legitly obtained from the GameCube games.

for the emerald/ruby/saphire games it is a hack to obtain lugio or ho-oh without the game cube games(which is why they made them and i bought them) or without the event

If the area was there before you got the ticket, the Pokemon couldn't be hacked. The only way how it could be is if you edit your own game XD and I have no clue on how to do that!
